Google registered this as a trademark around 2 years ago. The word was that Fuschia OS uses its own kernal and not Linux kernal. This would give Google a lot of independence in terms of maintenance and license.
But nothing happened in these 2 years and we almost forgot about them having this trademark. What do you think Google is planning ?
I really thought they would move to Fuschia OS by now. It could be that they don't want to ruin the advantage Android has now.
I heard that Fuschia OS applied for certification to use/provide Bluetooth as per international standards with the competent authority. That was a week back. Nothing more on the subject yet.
Wondering why so slow. Always Google will be quick enough to do things but the OS haven't seen many developments 🙁
That means they are serious and doing some under the hood things which are secret. Obviously Google does not want us to know much about until they decide to launch it or announce it. Their next secret weapon ? With every single phone maker in their pocket, Google can easily push Fuschia into the market.
