I know a lot of people do awesome things with just HTML, CSS and a few libraries and frameworks. For them, that is their bread and butter and they are handling it well.
Do you think they should look beyond HTML and CSS. Maybe study Vue, React, PHP etc ?
Not if they are happy with it. At some point the whole niche will change where you do not need to use code at all. Website building has already moved to that kind of set up. Mobile app developers are also getting similar frameworks.
So it is all about what you know and how much you enjoy about it.
I thought you will say that they need to learn everything. In a way, what you say is interesting. We cannot be master of all trades.
Learn well what you know. Apply it well, and enjoy your work. I cannot give a better to anyone.
I myself know a few of this and that. But that is enough for a happy life.
I think some app development skills these days would be cool. There is a huge demand for that.
I'm proficient in mysql, PHP, etc. Have been for a number of years.
