Anyone here a fan of online office suites ? Which one do you use ?
I use WPS Office as a primary office suite. I don't think they have an online version.
Google Docs. I have used both business and personal versions. it works well, does the job and allow you to work with the rest of the team.
For small business, the starter packs are very much affordable.
You can host Libre office as an online office suite. I have not tried, but a lot of info on social media says it is tension free like Google docs. Well, I am not surprised. Libre Office is normally counted as strings free.
Libre office is dependable. But they are bit buggy when you open Libre Office saved Excel sheets is Microsoft Office Excel. That is what the real time feedback from real people say. Some accuse that this is intentional, but the fact is, it breaks. That is the only thing that matters.
But if you are using it on cloud, there is nothing to worry about because you are not moving the files out of the Libre office environment. Smart move if they are offering host it yourself version. 👍️
Only Office has integration with NextCloud. I am not sure whether they provide a self hosted version.
