How many of you use Nginix ? Is there any specific advantage ? A lot of people say it is fast and better than Apache. What is your choice when setting up a server /
I have used it some time back. They say it is fast, that is no joke in some cases.
But when you choose Nginx, in some cases you seems not using standard configuration. It is like you using Linux when people think the standard is Windows.
admin NGINX is extremely quick, but doesn't have the same flexibility as Apache when it comes to .htaccess files, so it's not for everyone. NGINX essentially fills a performance void left by Apache, and in most cases, an accepted configuration from most Web hosts is to actually place NGINX in front of Apache and have it proxy requests.
NGINX is also notoriously difficult to configure for beginners, but if you can stand the pain, the performance benefits alone are well worth it.
I have long back installed and ran a LEMP stack based machine. Recently, I haven't tried much.

What do they call it ? Nginx Reverse proxy ?

Using LAMP only is bad ? There are a lot of tutorials is we use Apache.
Abhi Using LAMP only is bad ?
I think we call it the industry standard. Not sure good or bad. Both, I guess.
Abhi Not at all. Apache is perfect in most use cases, and works 100% with WordPress. It's also extremely flexible. NGINX excels if you have an extremely busy site, but for starting out, Apache is perfect.
Staying with LAMP for now. That is what I have done so far.
