Abhi I have been using blender from quite some time now. Actually I was looking for an open-source software. Initially, I had installed the free version of AutoDesk Maya, (student version). But that was quite a huge file for me (around 2 GB).
Later when I knew about blender, I thought it's features will be quite limited, afterall it's a fully open sourced software having file size less than 100 mb (2.84 version). But to my amazement, it had all the properties and features needed for a professional level video making.
Just one issue with blender, the baking time that it takes is quite long. It took me more than 2 hours to bake the physics properties, and more than 10 hours for rendering a small video of around 1 minute.
