I agree with both of you. WordPress has been around for a long time and has only grown in popularity with it's super dynamic and responsive upgrades over the past decade. The plugin library is vast and with all the drag and drop builders associated with it, more and more people are turning to it so they don't have to hire coders. What I'd love to see with WordPress someday is a whole slew of plugins for a Harry Potter Hogwarts type site that has Galleons, House Points, School, Forums, and the likes. Most of that can be done with pre-existing plugins while some cannot. I'd totally make a full-blown Harry Potter Interactive RPG if I had the necessary stuff to do it with WordPress.
