We have a Samsung that requires toner. We tried ink-jet but we had to buy cartridges often as they would dry out because we didn’t print all that much. We’ve had ours for several years & would get another one with toner. It doesn't have Fax as we don't use that but we can scan, copy, & print.
We have a Brother MFC-J486DW (no I didn't memorize that, I literally had to look into my settings to find that haha). We chose this one because although we don't print too often, we like the idea of not spending an arm and a leg for new toners. I can't tell you how old it is. It feels like we've had this printer forever.
I have a Brother HL-L2380DW laser printer. Cheapest laser printer I could find 😃
Do you think a wifi printer is a good choice. Or stay with a USB printer ?
admin actually it depends upon the requirement. For example, if you are using it for domestic purpose, USB cable ones are sufficient.
But for business purposes, I think Wi-Fi printers are preferable. As there will be customers who will need prints for their needs. It's better to go wireless and do your job hassle free.
That is a good suggestion. But found that most USB printers are barely cheaper than WiFi models. So it is hardly a matter of saving money in my case. The profit by choosing USB printer is very less due to the very small difference in price.
I have a printer that is both USB and WiFi capable, so it can be accessed by the PC it's connected to and throughout the house. It's quite handy!
I might end up buying an WiFi model. To be honest, I do not need a WiFi printer at the moment.
admin Sometimes it's just nice to have as a luxury, you never know when you need to print something from a laptop far away from your desk, or off of your phone when you're moving around. It can be nice 🙂
