Does any of you try YouTube shorts instead of good old Vlogging? How does it help you in acquiring an audience?
Is it profitable for you?
Very useful. So they have every tool needed within the YouTube app. That is quite exciting.
I did try, but not sure how easy is to edit the clips. I am so used to programs on the computer.
Yes, but I do not know for sure how to use other means to record and still have a decent layout in shorts. Perhaps our video editor has something that can fix these. The video layout and format can be adjusted in many ways. I do not see anything for that in Davinci Resolve or Kdenlive. But I can trying finding one if you want.
I don't use either but I can see how the Shorts would be more beneficial. People are limited with their time & a quick video could entice more viewers. I always get irked when I'm watching something & I want them to just get to the point already lol
I 100 % agree with you.
Shorts is Google's version of TikTok. And it is very useful too. I think it helps more than regular YouTube videos.
If we invest in Google Shorts now, it can be very useful. But it is really hard to make content that is not more than 60 seconds.
Yes, that is what I was thinking. A lot of people rose to fame through it. I just want to have a popular channel.
I wonder how the amount of revenue that one can generate through shorts compares to longer videos. I believe that ad revenue is based on watch time.
I watch a single shorts more than once if it is interesting. That might contribute to the hours consumed on content.
StormyFire I wonder how the amount of revenue that one can generate through shorts
It should be rewarding. It is one of the trending features in video sharing these days. Not to mention TikTok beating YouTube on the time spent on its platform.
